Draw This Again: Some Jerk With A Camera by AniMat505
Draw This Again: Some Jerk With A Camera
Since I made this updated version of my old Some Jerk With A Camera fan art, I decided to make side-by-side comparison to show how I have grown as an artist from the end of 2011 to the start of 2015. And honestly, it really shows. From the more advanced and noticeable shadows to sticking more with what it's based on. Plus the new one looks more like Jerk than the left. But I'll let you guys see the difference.

Some Jerk With A Camera (Updated 2015 Edition)
This was a little project that I always wanted to do for a while. If you guys remember WAY back in late 2011, I did this fan art for Some Jerk With A Camera (which he used in his review of the updated Star Tours ride…), but now that I've evolved as an artist, I felt like I could do way better. Plus the fact that now he's a Channel Awesome member he deserves better. And now, I actually feel satisfied with it! If you guys haven't seen his show, go check him out here… He's one of those online reviewers that's more than worth watching
Porta Plata View by AniMat505
Porta Plata View
While I was on vacation with my family at Porta Plata, the view form my hotel was just something to truly remember. So, as the artist that I am, I decided that, when I have leisure time in my room, I go out in my balcony and make a rough sketch of my view. But making one sketch wouldn't do it justice. This is the combination of 5 papers resulting in a panoramic rough sketch. In a way, it's like I made my own little souvenir of the trip
Patreon Commission: Misaki Ayuzawa and Usui Takumi by AniMat505
Patreon Commission: Misaki Ayuzawa and Usui Takumi
This was a Patreon Commision for Simon Howell. Out of all the commissions I've done so far, this was the most complicated I've ever gotten for 2 reasons. First, well, he asked me to do, and I quote "a drawing of Misaki Ayuzawa (in her maid costume) and Usui Takumi from "Maid Sama!" with Usui hugging Misaki from behind and Misaki pulling Usui's tie with her balancing a tray with the fingers on her hand and on the tray is a summery fruit ice cream in a glass with wings on it." As you can tell, that's a pretty specific order. And second, I'm honestly not use to the anime style. I'm more accustomed to my own style and copying from sight whatever image I see. With this thought, not only do I have to make it up, but also put in the details in the anime drawings. So this commission really put me out of my comfort zone. But hopefully, I made something that has a satisfactory result

Patreon Commission: Balto and Karlamon by AniMat505
Patreon Commission: Balto and Karlamon
This was a Photoshop Commission by :iconkarlamon: through Patreon, who asked me to have his wolf character and Balto playing in the snow. If I could be honest, the pose of the characters came from the cover of Balto 3, since it was the closest thing of Balto and another wolf having fun. Unsurpringly, he's the one that also request me to do a review of Balto

Hey guys, welcome to my deviantART page! (yay) For those of you who don't know who I am, my name is Mat Brunet and, as a hobby, I like to draw and make videos on the internet. My shows are Animation Lookback (a documentary-comedy series about the history of the most well known animation studios, legends and more) and AniMat's Reviews (an analytical review on animated films that are released in theatres today). Some day, I would love to do this for a living and also become an animator. In here, you'll find all kinds of different things that I've done for my videos, title cards, logos and more. Hope ya like what you see!

Just want to say that I enjoy your videos and if it's all right to post a question here:

With all of the video games that have gotten their own movies and TV shows, which one is your favorite and which video game (series) would you like to see get their own animated series? My vote go to either Monkey Island or Team Fortress 2.

Hello there, Mat Brunet!

I wish to ask you something: did you get to read the emails that I once sent you, regarding suggestions for you upcoming reviews?

I liked your videos of The Epic Mickey Files (especially with the one centered on The Three Little Pigs, who are some of my favorite Walt Disney characters, of course) and your videos of Walt Disney Animation Studios.

You even did a great job on your top ten favorite Walt Disney films, too. I like to share my favorites with you, too:
1. Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (1937)
2. Dumbo (1941)
3. Fun And Fancy Free (1947)
4. The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh (1977)
5. Beauty And The Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), and The Lion King (1994)
6. Cinderella (1950)
7. Pinocchio (1940)
8. Bambi (1942)
9. Fantasia (1940) and Fantasia 2000 (2000)
10. A Christmas Carol (2009)
Honorable Mentions: The Adventures Of Ichabod Crane and Mr Toad (1949), Sleeping Beauty (1959), One Hundred And One Dalmatians (1961), The Sword In The Stone (1963), Mary Poppins (1964), The Jungle Book (1967), The Aristocats (1970), Robin Hood (1973), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Saving Mr. Banks (2013), and Frozen (2013).

Could you perhaps review any of these films in my top ten favorite Walt Disney films list?

I think that it would be nice if you did a top ten list of your favorite Walt Disney villains and maybe your top ten favorite Mickey Mouse cartoons and your top ten favorite Silly Symphony cartoons (maybe review The Three Little Pigs cartoons?). What do you think?
Since you did a Thomas The Tank Engine joke in your Cars 2 review, I think that you ought to review Thomas And The Magic Railroad (2000). It's just like Mary Poppins and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, except that the animation is live-action animation. I don't think that you've reviewed that type of animation before, eh? If you need more information regarding the film, I can give you more information. Just email me at

Talk To You Soon!!!!
